Meet the participants in Danish Tech Challenge
We are proud to present the 22 hardware companies that we in collaboration with the jury have selected to Danish Tech Challenge 2014 Behind every company you will find new and exciting products, ambitious and talented entrepreneurs and a realistic chance to get all the way to a viable business.
The companies move in with us on 1 September 2014 and we look forward to a very exciting autumn!
In an effort to get all the way from idea to product, it is a challenge to all entrepreneurs to get the money to stretch far enough. Therefore, we as part of the package to the participants in the entrepreneurship competition, Danish Tech Challenge, made arrangements with a number of sponsors that make their products free of charge to the participants. Danish Tech Challenge is a unique opportunity for 20 selected hardware start-up companies.
All participants will go through an intense 4-month curriculum on product and business development. We know the obstacles you have to overcome to get a new hardware product on the market, and you will be matched with industry experts to help and challenge your business idea.
You will get maximum synergies between start-up teams and a unique environment to work in with access to workspace in The Science and Techonology Park, Scion DTU.
We need new companies to mature into successful businesses. Industrial companies are an essential part of the Danish economy and Scion DTU wants to keep it that way. Scion DTU wants to contribute and this has resulted in a sponsorship from the Danish Industry Foundation, a private foundation that aims to support Danish industry.
